Pole Vault crew paces Women's Track & Field Saturday

PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – The pole vault crew for the Concordia University Wisconsin Women's Track & Field led the way for the Falcons Saturday at the UW-Platteville Invitational. The Falcons put three in the top five in the event, led by Taylor Corkum who finished second.

- Corkum paced the Falcons once again in the pole vault, clearing 3.45 meters for a second-place finish. Jennifer Miller added a third-place finish for the Falcons, clearing 3.30 meters, while Kailey Koehler placed fifth after clearing 3.00 meters.

- Nora Imperl had a solid day for CUW, posting a pair of top-seven finishes. She ran a 5:24.40 in the mile, placing seventh, while posting 19:41.37 in the 5,000-meter run. In the mile run, Imperl was second among Division III runners.

- Nicole Veldhorst and Alden Goucher added sixth-place finishes for the Falcons in jumping events. Goucher leaped 10.65 meters in the triple jump, while Veldhorst cleared 1.45 meters in the high jump.

- The Falcons will compete at the UW-Oshkosh Titan Challenge next Saturday. The meet will start at 10:30 a.m.
