Track & Field competes at Todd Metzger Invitational

WAUKESHA, Wis. -- Concordia University men's and women's track and field both competed at the Todd Metzger Invitational yesterday at Carthage College. The men's team compiled an eighth overall finish while the women managed to take home seventh place.

Junior John Balsman (Rockford, Ill.) and sophomore Dylan Krivoshein (Cedarburg, Wisc.) tied for eighth place in the 55 meter dash with a respectable time of 6.79 seconds to lead the way for the Falcons. Also for the men, junior Martin Hinze (Bourbannais, Ill.) compiled a 8:58 showing in the 3000 meter run.

Pacing the way for the Falcon women was Carly Beil who finished with a 7.93 seconds time in the 55 meter dash.
