Women's Tennis cruises to fifth NAC victory of the season

GLENDALE, Wis. – Concordia University Wisconsin didn't have any trouble with Northern Athletics Conference opponent Alverno College, as it claimed a league victory 9-0 on Tuesday afternoon.

The Falcons (5-1, 5-1 NAC) picked up their fourth shutout win of the season behind straight-set wins in all six singles matches. Senior Jaclyn Ward (Franklin, Wis.) and senior Callie Reinke (West Allis, Wis.) led the team with 6-1, 6-0 and 6-0, 6-1 wins, respectively.

The doubles combination of Ward and Reinke downed their opponents 8-1 to lead all doubles matches.

CUW continues its road swing with a pair of matches on Saturday at Aurora University (10 a.m.) and Benedictine University (2 p.m.).
