MEQUON, Wis. – Sophomores Sean Ambrocio and Greg Sanders are both fifth in the national rankings, according to the latest poll released on Wednesday. Senior Marcus Lubner is also ranked 11th overall.

Ambrocio (San Antonio, Texas) has been ranked as low as seventh and as high as fifth in the four polls released by the website. The 125-pounder holds a 9-5 record, which includes a first-place victory at the MSOE Invitational (Dec. 1).

Sanders (San Antonio, Texas) has been ranked in all four of the polls released by the website. He has been ranked fifth three-consecutive times and began the year in the 11th spot. The 149-pounder is 14-3 this season and has improved in each of the last three tournaments taking fifth at the Luther College Open (Nov. 10), third at the CUW Open (Nov. 17) and first at the MSOE Invitational. Last season, Sanders received a spot in the 141-pound weight class during eight releases of the rankings.

During the second rankings released by on Nov. 13, Marcus Lubner (Fredonia, Wis.) was ninth in the 133-pound weight class. He has held the 11th spot the past two releases on Nov. 27 and Dec. 5. Lubner currently has an 8-3 overall record.

Junior Leonard Kuspa (Oak Forest, Ill.) was an honorable mention for the 165-pound weight class in Nov. 13 rankings. He has a 9-6 overall record this season, which includes an eight-place finish at the CUW Open and a third-place finish at the MSOE Invitational.

CUW returns to the mat on Saturday at the North Central College Invite. The tournament is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m.
