Pair of Women's Lacrosse players earn IWLCA academic honors

GRAND LAKE, Colo. -- Concordia Wisconsin had a pair of student-athletes earn Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association Zag Sports Academic Honor Roll, the organization announced.

Senior Caitlin Henry (Lansing, Ill.) and junior Lauren Paquin (Waukesha, Wis.) each had at least a 3.50 grade point average this past year to earn the academic recognition.

Henry was an All-MWLC Second Team honoree and finished her career ranked top-5 in goals, caused turnovers, free position goals and draw controls in program history. Meanwhile, Paquin was the MWLC Co-Midfielder of the Year and All-MWLC First Team honoree. She led the MWLC in ground balls; while also ranking second in caused turnovers, third in goals and fourth in points.

In total, there were 631 student-athletes and 187 different institutions on the 2018 IWLCA Zag Sports Division III Academic Honor Roll.
