WAUKESHA, Wis. – Concordia Wisconsin's Lauren Paquin earned Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference Defensive Player of the Week honors, the league office announced
Paquin (Waukesha, Wis.) led the Falcons defense during a trio of victories last week during MWLC play. She had a total of 10 caused turnovers, seven ground balls and eight draw controls, to go along with 16 goals. The junior had three ground balls and four draw controls in a close 10-9 victory over Aurora at home. She then posted five caused turnovers, three draw controls and a ground ball in an OT victory at Wartburg. The midfielder wrapped up the week with five caused turnovers, three ground balls and a draw control in a road win over Loras, while also scoring five goals.
The conference weekly honor is the third of the season and fourth of her career.
