Concordia Wisconsin has played decently in the month of March during its history, but has been more impressive since 2014 with a 22-12 record. More so, they have compiled a 16-8 record at Fitting Field in the third month of the calendar year and a 14-2 record on its home turf since the 2014 season.
• SOME NEW FACES: Concordia Wisconsin's roster features some new faces this season, with six players joining for the first time. Meanwhile, the likes of Caitlin Henry, Allison Kurek and Kjerstin Saarela are looking to guide the Falcons to success during the final year of their careers.
• SCOUTING CARTHAGE: Carthage brings a three-game losing streak to Mequon after winning the first four games of the season. The Lady Reds are led by a three-headed attack of Jessie Gibson (24G), Rachel Mussell (19G) and Nicole Bowman (16), who account for 59 of the team's 84 goals. Defensively, Maggie Allen has played every minute in goal and has made double-digit saves in six of their seven games.
• THE SERIES, LAST TIME: Carthage owns the series with an 8-1 record dating back to 2011, with the lone Concordia Wisconsin win coming via an 11-8 victory on March 30, 2016, at home. The last time they met the Lady Reds overcame a 9-6 deficit in the second half by scoring the game's final five goals to win 11-9. The Falcons' Lauren Paquin had three goals and an assist, while Nicole DeMeo had two scores.
