Adrian, Mich. – The Concordia University Wisconsin Women's Hockey team went on the road to face off against No. 3 Adrian for the weekend. The Falcons struggled to generate enough offensive to keep up with the Bulldogs falling 3-0 in Friday's series opener.

Final Score: Adrian 3, Concordia Wisconsin 0
Location: Arrington Ice Area (Adrian, Mich.)
Records: Concordia Wisconsin 9-9-1, 7-5-1 NCHA; Adrian 14-5-1, 11-1-1 NCHA

- Adrian got on the scoreboard first after a power-play goal by Jaqueline White moments before junior Kristen Kennedy (London, Ontario) was about to come back on the ice from a hooking penalty. The Bulldogs were able to keep the Falcons from scoring for the rest of the first period, taking a 1-0 lead into the intermission. Junior Christina Pattengale (Portage, Mich.) made 14 saves in the opening 20 minutes.
- The second period was much of the same, as Adrian was able to score again off another power-play opportunity. This time it was from Tory Harshman 5:57 into the period and six seconds before the Falcons were going to kill the penalty.
- The final goal for the Bulldogs was delivered from Olivia Fox and pushed Adrian to the 3-0 victory. Pattengale made 41 saves on the night from inside the pipes. CUW committed seven penalties for a total of 14 minutes.
