Women’s Golf begins spring portion of its season

JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – Concordia Wisconsin returned to the links after a lengthy layoff from competition on Sunday with a third-place finish at the Illinois College Invitational on Sunday at The Links of Jacksonville.

THE BASICS

Team Leaderboard: 3rd of 3 (399)
Falcon Individuals: Molly Mundinger (94), Kayla Haen (97), Abbie Haller (102), Emily Bubla (106)

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Falcons fired a 399 total as a team to take third place in their first event of the spring. Carthage won the tournament with a team score of 375.
- Freshman Molly Mundinger (West Bend, Wis.) led Concordia Wisconsin with a 94 score to take sixth, while junior Kayla Haen (Appleton, Wis.) shot a 97 to tie for eighth place.
- Freshman Abbie Haller (Cedar Rapids, Iowa) was 14th overall with a 102 and junior Emily Bubla (Wisconsin Rapids, Wis.) finished in 15th after shooting a 106.

- Concordia Wisconsin returns to the course for two-day, 36-hole Bethel (Ind.) Spring Invitational on Friday and Saturday, April 13-14 at Blackthorn Golf Course (South Bend, Ind.).
