Women's Golf competes against Lakeland

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. – Concordia University Wisconsin competed in its final event before the NCAA Division III Championship against Lakeland College on Friday afternoon at the par 71, 5,591 yard Town & Country Golf Course.

The Falcons placed all four golfers in the top spots. CUW had a team score of 380, while LC shot 644.

Freshman Nina Puch (Des Plaines, Ill.) shot the dual's low road with a 20-over-par 91. Freshman Emily Stephenson (Ashland, Wis.) was on shot behind her teammate with a 92 and freshman Emmy Dill (Bristol, Wis.) fired a 95. Freshman Lexi Westphal (Brownsville, Wis.) rounded out the Falcons lineup with a 102.

The Muskies were led by Aimee Thrune's 149.

CUW will have nine days to prepare for its first trip to the NCAA Division III Championships in Destin, Fla., at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort.
