MEQUON, Wis.- The Benedictine women's basketball team brings a 3-1 NAC South record to the Buuck Fieldhouse on Saturday to face the Falcons who are currently 5-2 in the North Division and 7-5 overall.
The Eagles, who feature an extremely balanced attack, are led offensively by cat-quick guard Michelle Gaede who is averaging 10.2 points and also tops the team in assists and steals.
Katie Hunzinger is right behind at 9.0ppg and is the top BenU rebounder with 84. Eight players average at least four points per outing for Benedictine, a team that is scoring just over 70 points per outing while allowing 69.
Like CUW, BenU has had trouble shooting from the perimeter (24.7%), but the 'slashing to the basket' Eagles have gotten to the free throw line 273 times, almost 100 more than their opponents.
