Softball earns NFCA Division III All-Academic Team honor

LOUISVILLE – The Concordia University Wisconsin softball team had a strong season on the field in 2013, as they posted a 28-17 record, had two all-region players and four all-conference athletes. The Falcons also had success off the field as it was announced they were named one of the Division III All-Academic Teams by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association.

CUW had a team GPA of 3.38 ranking near the top of all Division III teams across the country. The Falcons also ranked as the top team in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference in terms of GPA.

Seven Falcons earned the title of NFCA Division III Scholar-Athlete. 2013 senior Cara Landherr was one of the selections for CUW, while joining her was Courtney Hastings, Jessica Liszka, Katie Landherr, Melissa Perkins, Sara Skarda and Victoria McCoy.
