WAUKESHA, Wis. – Concordia University Wisconsin junior Alyssa Robison has been named the Northern Athletics Conference Position Player Student-Athlete of the Week for the events of Feb. 18-24, as selected by the league's sports information directors.
Robison (Roselle, Ill.) drove in nine runs and hit .444 (4-for-9) over the weekend for the Falcons. The junior outfielder hit a grand slam in a 7-6 loss to Simpson, and added a bases-clearing triple versus No. 16 Carthage. She scored three times in four games and totaled three extra-base hits with a pair of home runs and a triple.
Robison and the Falcons are off until their spring break trip where they will play 10 games in six days in Clermont, Fla. The Falcons will play a challenging schedule on their trip as they play four teams ranked or receiving votes in the NFCA Coaches poll and six teams that ended 2012 regionally ranked.
