STEVENS POINT, Wis. – Samual Spranger wrapped up qualifying for the 2019 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday. Spranger competed at the UW-Stevens Point Final Qualifier on Saturday.
A junior from Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, Spranger recorded the fastest time of the day at 49.68.
Spranger lowered his time from Friday at Carthage by .29 seconds.
In January, he broke the school record at the Grand Valley State Bo Eubanks Open at 49.29.
He will find out later this weekend if he has qualified for the NCAA Championships.
