Nate Yeager repeats as NACC Defensive Player of the Week

MEQUON, Wis. – For the second-straight week, Nate Yeager claimed the NACC Defensive Player of the Week honor.

A junior from Rio Rancho, New Mexico, Yeager is claiming the title for the third time this season.

Yeager has anchored a defense that has not allowed a goal in the last 391 minutes of play.

The Falcons posted shutout victories over Rockford on Wednesday and in the NACC Tournament against Wisconsin Lutheran.

On Wednesday, he played 78 minutes at Rockford.

Against the Knights, Yeager posted three saves.

CUW has notched eight shutouts in 2018.

Yeager and the Falcons will take on MSOE in the NACC Tournament Semifinals on Wednesday.
