Guerra named NCHA Offensive Player of the Week

DULUTH, Minn. - Nick Guerra has been named the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association Men's Offensive Player of the Week, the league announced.

Guerra (Victoria, B.C.) sparked the Falcons to a 2-0 weekend, totaling an impressive 6 points (5 goals/1 assist). He opened the week with a pair of goals in CUW's 3-2 win over Saint John's, netting the tying goal late in the second and the winner in the third. He then topped that Saturday, leading the Falcons to a school-record nine goals against Bethel. Guerra netted a hat trick and also added an assist. The hat trick was the fourth in Men's Hockey program history.
