MILWAUKEE -- Concordia Wisconsin Men's Basketball student-athlete Andrew Fratzke has earned Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Player of the Week, the league office has announced.
Fratzke, a senior, averaged 14.0 points per game in three Falcons victories to help CUW clinch a share of the NACC regular-season championship. He also surpassed 1,000 career points during the week.
Fratzke scored 15 points on 5-of-7 shooting with four rebounds, three blocks and three steals in a 69-46 win at Illinois Tech Wednesday, then added 18 points and three more blocks in just 15 minutes in an 81-66 win over Dominican on Friday. He concluded the week with just nine points but ripped down five rebounds, blocked five shots and had four assists in an 85-76 win at Benedictine in the regular-season finale Saturday. Fratzke's 11 blocks during the week moved him into a tie for the league lead with Illinois Tech's Max Hisatake with 45.
