Men’s Basketball advances to CIT title game

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Jordan Johnson and Josh Hau each scored over 20 points and Concordia Wisconsin's defense shut down Concordia Nebraska in the second half en route to an 86-70 victory at the 68th Annual Concordia Invitational Tournament.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Concordia Wisconsin shot the ball well all game – 51.5 percent – and knocked down 10 3-pointers to put on an offensive display. They had three players in double-figures, led by Hau's (senior, Slinger, Wis.) game-high 25 points which included five 3-pointers.
- Johnson (sophomore, Cedarburg, Wis.) was dazzling the crowd with his crossover and ended with 22 points and 10 rebounds for his third double-double of the season. Senior Jake Jurss (Sheboygan, Wis.) hit timely long balls and recorded 16 points, to go along with six rebounds and three steals.
- The Falcons bench provided energy and was the catalyst in limiting the Bulldogs to 32.0 percent shooting and 28 points in the second half.
- Concordia Wisconsin won the rebounding battle, 40-29, and had eight steals.
- Brevin Sloup scored a Bulldogs-best 24 points, which included six 3-pointers.

- Concordia Wisconsin will play the winner of the Concordia Ann Arbor vs. Concordia Chicago contest on Saturday at 6 pm CT in the CIT title game.
