MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The CUW field hockey team fell at Rhodes on Saturday afternoon, 0-9. The loss sends the Falcons to 5-6 on the year and to 1-2 in the SAA. Rhodes improves to 9-3 and 3-1 in SAA play.

The Rhodes defense continued to have a strong campaign in 2018 and is holding teams to 0.92 goals-per-game.

The Falcons recorded three shots on goal, with freshman Megan McPike (Mequon, Wis.), sophomore Callie Neumann (Dousman, Wis.) and junior Kelsey Fulton (Sussex, Wis.) all having one shot.

Junior Sophia O'Connor (Manchester, Mich.) notched one defensive save on the afternoon.

Freshman Katelyn Fitzgerald (Wood River, Ill.) collected 12 saves at Rhodes.
