Keith Collins
Title: Director of Football Alumni Relations
Previous College: UW-Milwaukee, '74

Keith Collins retired after the 2016 season, completing a memorable 33-year coaching career at CUW. He will staff with the program at Director of Football Alumni Relations.

He reminds us that it is not what “he” has achieved over the many years at CUW, but what his players have achieved as members of the “Falcon Family”. While a member of the “Falcon Family”, he is affectionately coached in more than 350 games inclusive of national playoff, varsity and junior varsity contests.

Collins has coached 18 CUW Hall of Famers, 32 All-Americans and more than 100 all-conference first team, as well as more than 130 all-conference second team honorees. He has coached eight conference title-winning teams and six to the national playoffs.

Collins began playing football while at John Marshall High School in Milwaukee, Wis., between 1966-69. He made the varsity starting lineup playing guard and defensive end, while in his sophomore year. At Marshall, he was a member of three City Conference Championships.

He was drafted in 1969 and served in the United States Navy as a Medical Corpsman, and was assigned to the Fourth Marines. Upon completion of service to his country, Collins was honorably discharged from active duty. As a result, he met his now wife of 35-plus years, Cynthia, and his stepson Stephen Mark White. Collins and his wife have two children, Vanessa Marie and Casey Collins.

Collins continued to play football while married at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee when it was a NCAA Division IAA program in the early 70’s under the tutelage of Glen “Doc” Brady. He then went on to play semi-professional football with the West Allis Spartans.
