TUSCON, Ariz. – The Falcons had trouble containing the Yeomen bats as Concordia Wisconsin was defeated in both games of a doubleheader with Oberlin by scores of 20-6 and 5-4.

THE BASICS
-Final Score: Oberlin 20, Concordia Wisconsin 6 | Oberlin 5, Concordia Wisconsin 4
-Records: Concordia Wisconsin 3-8, Oberlin 4-4

HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Falcons had 10 hits in the opener, but couldn't keep pace with the bats of the Yeomen as they fell 20-6.
-Sean Tillmon (Plainfield, Ill.) was 3-for-3 with two RBI for the Falcons in the first game.
-The second game of the doubleheader went the way of the Yeomen as they scored two runs in the bottom of the final inning to defeat the Falcons 5-4.
-Entering the seventh and final inning, the game was tied at 3-3. Eric Paz (Kenosha, Wis.) gave the Falcons a 4-3 lead with a sac fly to center, scoring Drew Barth (Pewaukee, Wis.).
-Unfortunately for the Falcons, Brendan Mapes doubled in the tying run in the bottom half of the inning. Later, Nick Nelson hit a walk-off single to left center, driving in Mapes from third to give the Yeomen their fourth win of the season.
