Title: Graduate Assistant

Smiga is in her second year with the CUW program in 2019.

A native of Fairfax County, in northern Virginia.

Smiga played at the NCAA Division I level at Radford University, before the program was disbanded. She was named the NorPac Player of the Week once her freshman year.

She then transferred to Queens (NCAA Division II), where she played center midfielder.

The Royals posted a 9-7 record in their first season and became the first team to post a winning record in its inaugural season across all divisions.

Smiga graduated with a Bachelors of Science from Queens University in 2017 in Exercise Sports Science.

She has also coached with the Charlotte Ambush Club Team and the South Mecklenburg High School varsity team.

Smiga was a member of the 2018 CUW staff that recorded the winningest season in program history.

She plans to earn her MBA in Health Care Administration and plans to graduate in May 2020.
