CUW announces incoming student-athletes

MEQUON, Wis. -- Concordia University Wisconsin is pleased to announce the latest group of incoming student-athletes for the 2016-17 athletic year. The NCAA passed legislation for Division III which allows incoming student-athletes to sign a celebratory form to show they have committed to a respective institution and athletic program.

This list of student-athletes of have an accepted deposit at CUW, signed the form and their respective coach had submitted information to CUWFalcons.com.

Three-year varsity starter and captain senior year for D1 Manitowoc Lincoln High School...Received offensive MVP and was named Second Team All-Conference scoring 18 goals and 9 assists this past season...Played club soccer for seven years, the past four years with F C Wisconsin North, competing in Premier and MRL leagues...Four-year academic A honor roll and member of the NHS.
 
 
Brendan Renkes Men's Soccer Corpus Christi, Texas Calallen
Started playing soccer at age 4 in Michigan and has played club soccer in Virginia, Alaska and south Texas...Team captain and starting center midfielder with Corpus Christi Titans FC...Two years with Geraldo Elite Futbol Texas Premier League team...Four-year varsity starting center midfielder with Calallen High School...All district awards and honor roll student. 
 
       
Sam Runyan Men's Soccer Muskego, Wisconsin Muskego
Three-year varsity starter at Muskego High School...Senior year captain and voted as team MVP...Earned three Classic Eight All Conference Awards: Honorable Mention-Defender Sophomore Year, and Second Team-Midfield Junior and Senior Year...Played club soccer for SC Waukesha-U13 thru U18...Starting Defender/Midfielder on the team that won back to back State Cup Championships and advanced to the Region II Midwest Regional Championships in 2016 and 2017.
