WAUKESHA, Wis. – Senior forward Carley Pfannerstill collected the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Women's Soccer weekly award for the events of September 14-20, the league office announced Monday.
Pfannerstill (Grafton, Wis.) recorded 11 points in a 2-0 week for the Falcons. Five of those came in a convincing 5-1 win over nationally ranked (No. 11) UW-Whitewater. Pfannerstill scored two goals and added an assist in the win over the Warhawks.
She followed that performance by setting a school record with 14 shots in the Falcons 6-0 win over Wisconsin Lutheran Saturday. In that match, the NACC's third leading scorer recorded six points, adding two more goals and two more assists. Pfannerstill now has 18 points in seven matches this season and has tallied five or more on three separate occasions.
Pfannerstill and the Falcons will be back in action Wednesday with a non-conference match at St. Norbert.
