Wrestling helps clean up Cedarburg after Wine and Harvest Festival

CEDARBURG, Wis. – Fifty thousand people converged on Cedarburg last weekend for the 40th Annual Wine and Harvest Festival, hosted by Cedarburg Festivals, Inc.

After the festival, the wrestling program volunteered to help clean up the downtown, take down tents, tables, chairs and assist the city in any way Sunday night. Earlier in the day, the team helped move 700-pound pumpkins into the river for the annual pumpkin race, as part of the festival.

"We want to thank the CUW wrestling team," Festival Coordinator Anne Conley said. "They were a huge help for this event, which would have taken much longer for our staff to clean up. It is greatly appreciated."
