2011-12 (Freshman): Qualified for the NCAA III National Championships at 125 lbs....Came within one match of earning All-American status, going 3-2 at the Championships...At the NCAA’s he defeated Robert Binglingmaier (Olivet College), Tyler Marlow (Brockport State University of New York), and Daniel Mendoza (Luther College)...Finished season 35-18...Placed 4th at NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional...Earned one of two ‘At-Large’ bids to qualify to Nationals...Won 125 lb. title at Northern Wrestling Association Meet in February...Voted Most Valuable and Most Improved Wrestler at CUW in 2011-12...First time in CUW wrestilng history a wrestler was voted for both awards...Finished with 76 takedowns and eight pins.

Placed third at Texas State Meet senior year at 112 lbs., finishing season 38-1...Won regionals, districts, and was voted ‘Hardest Worker Award’ (Gable Award) at Reagan for 2010-11...Finished top-12 at NHSCA Senior Nationals in Virginia Beach...Went 33-3 junior year while qualifying to state...Had a 99-15 overall high school record...Coached in high school by David Burdick.
