WAUKESHA, Wis. – Concordia University Wisconsin midfielder Sammi Reiter has been named Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference Offensive Player of the Week, the league office announced.
Reiter (Stillwater, Minn.) led the Falcons to a pair of victories last week, including an important 14-13 road victory over North Central College last Tuesday and a 21-11 road win at Beloit College.
She tied the program record with eight goals in the Falcons win over the Cardinals. Reiter had four goals in each half, including two free-position scores, to go along with four ground balls and two draw control wins. In CUW's road win over the Buccaneers she finished with five goals (two free-position markers), one assist, two ground balls, eight draw control wins and a caused turnover.
The conference weekly accolade is the third of her career and the second this season for CUW.
