Athletic Director Dr. Rob Barnhill announced the hiring of Emily
Mason as CUW's first-ever women's lacrosse head coach in
March of 2010. Mason was previously an assistant
lacrosse coach at Ithaca College, N.Y., and has worked at Nike
Lacrosse camps for past five summers. She also assists Head
Coach Jim Ingman with the Falcon women's hockey team.
Mason played four years of lacrosse and ice hockey at Connecticut
College where she was captain of both squads.
She was named to the IWLCA All-Region team after her junior and
senior seasons. Lacrosse has always been a part
of Mason's life as her mother has been the head coach at
Williams College for over 25 years.
