MEQUON, Wis. – Concordia University Wisconsin had three of the top four golfers at the Falcon Invitational on Tuesday to win the tournament at the par 70, 5,882 yard Mee-Kwon Golf Course.
Sophomore Nina Puch (Des Plaines, Ill.) took medalist honors with a 9-over par 70 (41-38), which included a birdie and seven pars. The Falcons shot a 373 team score, their second best round of the season.
Wisconsin Lutheran College shot a 402 total to take second and Lakeland College recorded a 419 team score. Jordan Fenney was second overall as an individual with a 94 total.
Sophomore Lexi Westphal (Brownsville, Wis.) carded a 96 score (50-46) and had two pars to place second on CUW's team. Freshman Sophomore Madalyn Joannes (Wauwatosa, Wis.) broke the 100 barrier for the first time since last fall after breaking her wrist with a 97 (52-45).
Freshman Megan Reddersdorf (Marengo, Ill.) shot a 101 (52-49) total to finish seventh overall among all individuals. Freshman Veronika Metanova (Palatine, Ill.) shot a 113 (59-54) to round out the Falcons lineup.
