Women's Golf competes against Wisconsin Lutheran

MEQUON, Wis. – Concordia University Wisconsin competed in a dual women's golf meet against Wisconsin Lutheran College on Thursday afternoon during sunny, yet windy, conditions at the par 70, 5,900 yard Mee-Kwon Golf Course.

The Falcons placed all five golfers, including their individual, in the top spots. CUW had a team score of 372, while WLC shot 450.

Freshman Nina Puch (Des Plaines, Ill.) carded the dual's low round with a 17-over-par 87. She was just 2-over on par 3s and 1-over on par 5s. Freshman Emily Stephenson (Ashland, Wis.) carded a 93, which included a dual-best 13-over on par 4s.

Freshman Lexi Westphal (Brownsville, Wis.) shot a 95, including a pair of pars and the only birdie among the 11 golfers that competed. Freshman Emmy Dill (Bristol, Wis.) fired a 97, while freshmen Amanda Chmiel (Grafton, Wis.) and Madalyn Joannes (Wauwatosa, Wis.) each shot 103.

WLC was led by Rachael Wendt's 107.

CUW returns to action on Sunday in Madison, Wis., at the Edgewood College Invite at Blackhawk Country Club.
