Falcon lead is HUGE after Day 2 of NAC women's Golf Tourney

Minneapolis, Minn.-  Concordia Wisconsin's #1-4 golfers shot a combined 342 Sunday to double their enormous lead after 36 of the 54 total holes played at the NAC conference women's tourney. The final round will be completed Monday.

Nina Puch (Fr./ Des Plaines, Ill.) was outstanding on Sunday with a two over par 74; eleven strokes better than her closest Day 2 competitor.

Falcon teammate Lexi Westphal (Fr./ Brownsville, Wis.) managed an 85 and CUW's Jordan Osowski (Fr./ Germantown, Wis.) chipped in with an 87, giving Jim Ingman's team the top three scores of any team for the day's competition.

Concordia Wisconsin's 704 two day total is a whooping 83 shots better than second place Benedictine.

"We played better today and our #1 and 2 really improved.  I'm proud of how Nina and Lexi shook off the first day.  We are going into Monday looking to get a little better and building a foundation for future tournaments,"  said Coach Ingman.
