MEQUON, Wis. --
The Concordia University Wisconsin softball program will be holding its annual hitting and pitching clinics. The dates are January 14, February 4 and 18th. The winter hitting clinics are open to girls, ages 10-18.

The hitting clinics are designed to develop the hitting approach and offensive skill set. Campers will receive instruction from the CUW softball coaching staff, as well as members of the softball team. Hitting instruction, using tee work, live toss, and pitching machines will focus on: hitting mechanics, sacrifice bunting, and slug bunting.

For players who are already comfortable with these aspects of their game, they will work on furthering their offensive skills including push bunts, drag bunts, and hitting based on pitch location and slapping.

The softball program also offers a pitching clinic for all skill levels. Players will receive detailed instruction from the staff and will learn drills and tips to further develop their skills.
