President's 5K Run/Walk
Each year the Cross Country programs host at Concordia
University Wisconsin the President's 5K Run/Walk. The run/walk is a
community service project that helps raise money for the cross
country and track & field programs, and is our way of honoring
our President Rev. Dr. Patrick T. Ferry.
When: Saturday, Nov. 9,
2013
Where: Concordia University Wisconsin. Park in the R.
John Buuck Field House parking lot. Start/Finish is on the lot of
land south of Highland Road (across the street from the main campus
entrance).
Time: 9:00 a.m.
Course: On the Cross Country course of Concordia
University Wisconsin.
Registration: In R. John Buuck Field House lobby
between 7:30 a.m. and 8:45 a.m.
Pre-Registration: $20, while race day cost is
$25. CUW students are free (courtesy of President Ferry).
Awards: 5K run only. Overall top male and female
finishers. Top three in each division, kids (10 and under), youth
(11-14 and 15–19), 20-24, 25--29, 30-34, 350-39, 40-44,
45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+.
All money raised through donations will benefit the Cross Country and Track & Field teams at Concordia University Wisconsin. All donations above the registration fee is tax deductible. Your contributions are greatly appreciated.
