Andy Asheneden joined the ConcordiaUniversity Wisconsin cross country coaching staff in August 2012,after an impressive running career.

He helped the Falcons win theNorthern Athletics Conference cross country conference title twice(2009 and 2010) and competed at the NCAA Division III Regional Meethis senior year, finishing in 23rd. Asheneden holds the secondfastest time ran by a male at CUW (24:41.00).

During his career he participatedon the track & field team for three seasons and won the NACAthlete of the Meet twice. He currently holds the school record inthe indoor 3,000-meter (8:42.1), distance medley (10:33.38),outdoor 1,500-meters (4:03.47), outdoor 3,000-meters (8:52.99) and4x800-meter relay (8:23.17).

He graduated from CUW in 2010 witha bachelor's degree in philosophy. Aside from coaching, Ashenden ispursuing his Masters Degree in christian apologetics from BiolaUniversity and his Masters degree in philosophy at the Universityof Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
