Krista Oldenburg graduated from the University of Wisconsin – River Falls in May 2009 with a degree in Exercise and Sport Science and minors in Business Administration and Coaching. She competed for the Falcons earning multiple All-American honors in the shot put and was a part of the team’s 2008 NCAA Outdoor National Championship title.
She holds the UWRF school record in the discus and 20 lb. weight throw. In addition, during her final season of competition received recognition for her academic and student-athlete accomplishments being named to the CoSIDA/ESPN Academic All-America Second Team and as the WIAC 2008 Indoor Scholar Athlete.
Oldenburg (formerly Hasselquist) works at CUW in the Career Services office helping students discover and pursue their passions and future vocations. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree and her goal is to become a Division III Collegiate Athletic Director. She is USATF Level 1 certified.

Coach Krista Oldenburg began coaching the 2010 season and provides excellent experience and technique training for our athletes, already developing an all-conference squad.
