Falcon Men finish seventh at UW-Whitewater Track and Field Invite

WHITEWATER, Wis.-  Concordia Wisconsin's Martin Hinze was outstanding in the mile run with a 4:29.1 second place finish at the Karl Schendler Memorial Invite held on the UW-Whitewater campus Saturday. 

The only person to beat Hinze was former Falcon Andy Ashenden who ran unattached. Hinze's time was less than 10 seconds off the CUW record of 4:19.80 set by Micah Lorenzen.

Other highlights for Russ DeLap's team included:

CUW's Jordan Guenther took fourth in the 5000 with a 17:44.1 clocking. 

Adam Fell picked up four points with a fifth place in the 3000 (9:36.8). 

CUW also got four points from their 4X400 relay team that consisted of Tyler White, Hinze, Dylan Krivoshein, and Michael Prue.

Falcons Ryan Gardner and Tyler White were 5th and 6th respectively in the long jump.

Prue earned three points indivdually for CUW with a sixth place finish in the 400.
