KENOSHA, Wis. – Concordia University Wisconsin's men's and women's track and field teams each finished eighth at the Wisconsin Private College Invitational Saturday, hosted by Carthage College.
Freshman Larissa Schlitz (DeForest, Wis.) paced the women's team with a third place finish in the 800-meters (2:36.47), while junior Jessica Hennig (Springfield, Ill.) placed sixth in the 400-meters (1:03.11).
On the men's side, junior Sean Pawlak (Germantown, Wis.) finished second in the 400-meters (51.60) and fourth 200-meters (23.24) to begin the season. Freshman Tyler White (Milwaukee, Wis.) was one of several men's competitors with a sixth place spot in the long jump (6.50m).
The Falcons return to competition on Saturday when they travel to UW-Whitewater for the Karl Schlender Invitational.
