MEQUON, Wis. - After kicking off the outdoor season last weekend, the Concordia University Wisconsin men's and women's track & field teams will compete at the Ted Haydon Invitational on Saturday afternoon.
The meet will take place on the University of Chicago campus, and is set to start at 11:30 a.m. Meet info and a schedule of events can be found here.
Senior hurdler Alex Pawlak (Colgate, Wis.) has picked up right where he left off after a stellar indoor season, already ranking second nationally in the 110m Hurdles with a time of 14.87 seconds last weekend at the Emory Invitational in Atlanta.
Pawlak also ranks 12th in the nation in the 400m Hurdles, posting a time of 55.17 seconds last weekend.
Senior Vincent Greefkes (Jackson, Wis.) ran well at Emory, ranking 20th in the 110m Hurdles with a time of 15.27 seconds.
The 4x100m Relay team of Pawlak, sophomore Sean Pawlak (Germantown, Wis.), sophomore Jonny Balsman (Rockford, Ill.), and senior Justin Rogers (Milwaukee, Wis.) ranks seventh nationally with a time of 42.21 seconds.
Rogers also ranks 24th in the country in the Triple Jump, posting a score of 44 feet, 2 inches last weekend.
