THIENSVILLE, Wis. – Concordia University Wisconsin's men's lacrosse team served dinner at the 15th Annual Lobster Fest on Saturday at the Shully's Café. The team helped support the Mequon-Thiensville Rotary's once-a-year event to raise charitable donations for support of humanitarian and community services in Mequon, Thiensville and neighboring communities around the world.
"Helping at the 15th Annual Lobster Fest was a great time," head coach Jeff Roberts said. "Raising money for polio research in underdeveloped countries is a great cause and giving back to the community is part of what this program is about. Any time we can help out the community we will because we feel that it is an integral part of developing our young men in mind, body and spirit."
The team helped set up dinner tables, served dinner and assisted in the clean up of the dinning room and kitchen.
