The inaugural season of Concordia men's lacrosse history gets underway on Saturday March 7th, when the Falcons travel to Springfield, Ohio, to battle Wittenberg.
This past Saturday (February 26th), CUW hosted a series of scrimmages at Century Stadium. Thanks to the CUW maintenance crew, the snow was removed from the field earlier in the week - allowing the event to take place.
With a roster of 19 players, the Falcons will battle a Wittenberg program that has already started the season 2-0 going into their match-up with Mount St. Joseph on Wednesday. The Tigers men's lacrosse history dates back to the 1997 season, with the program compiling an all-time best 10-5 record a year ago - qualifying for the NCAA D3 Tournament for the first time ever.
Following the 2pm battle in Ohio on Saturday, Concordia will play three matches in Dallas, Texas, head to Albion, Michigan, and play at MSOE (all over the next three weeks), before hosting Trine College in the home opener at Century Stadium on April 2nd at 1pm.
