Men’s Hockey season ends with loss at Marian

FOND DU LAC, Wis.- Marian University (13-8-4, 12-5-3 MCHA) scored three times in the first period en route to a 6-2 win over Concordia University Wisconsin on Saturday night inside the Blue Line Family Ice Center.

CUW got goals from junior Greg Douglas (Plano, Texas) and sophomore Shay Klitzke (Annandale, Minn.) to cut Marian's lead to 4-2 early in the third period, but the Sabres scored twice more later on to put the game beyond doubt.

Junior goalie Billy Sias (Bloomington, Minn.) made 36 saves in the loss, but it wasn't enough to keep Marian's offensive attack quiet.

Concordia finishes the season with a 2-20-3 record overall, along with 2-16-2 mark in MCHA play. The Falcons lost their final eight games of the season.
