Men’s Hockey returns home for MCHA game against Lawrence
MEQUON, Wis.
- Concordia University Wisconsin's men's hockey team
returns home Saturday night for a 7:30 p.m. Midwest Collegiate
Hockey Association matchup against Lawrence University at the
Ozaukee Ice Center. The game completes a home-and-home series
against the Vikings, who downed the Falcons 4-2 on Friday
night.

CUW (0-5-0, 0-3-0 MCHA) looks
for its first win of the season and first conference win since a
5-4 victory over Lake Forest College to end the 2010-11 season on
Feb. 19 of last year.
A plethora of Falcons have
scored at least a point for head coach Tony Hrkac this season and
are led by freshman Morgan Sanchez (Corona, Calif.) who has scored
a pair of goals. Three goaltenders have seen action between the
pipes this season, with freshman Josh Lehr (Appleton, Wis.)
recording 158 saves (87.3 percent) on the year.
LU (1-0-0, 1-0-0 MCHA) finished
last year with a 14-13-1 overall record and a 10-10-0 mark in
conference play. The Vikings are led by Matt Hughes' two goals,
which he scored to open Friday night's victory over the
Falcons.
Following Saturday's contest,
CUW will battle Lake Forest College in a home-and-home series
beginning on Friday, Nov. 11 at 7 p.m. at the Alumni Memorial
Fieldhouse in Lake Forest, Ill. On Saturday, Nov. 12 the Falcons
will host the Foresters in Milwaukee, Wis., at 2:30 p.m. at the
Bradley Center.
