MSOE works hard for 3-1 win over men’s hockey
Ozaukee Ice Center
MSOE (17-3-1) had to work hard for a 3-1 victory over Concordia
Saturday night at the Ozaukee Ice Center.
The Raiders Steven Raffroth gave his team a 1-0 lead midway thru
the first period but CUW came back to tie on a Joseph Greg Douglas
tally early in the second session.
MSOE got a power play score at the 10 minute mark of the second
period and the game stayed 2-1 until the final 90 seconds when
Jordan Keiser ended the suspense on a breakaway lamplighter.
Concordia's Everett Devlin deserved a better fate. The Falcon
goalie faced six power play situations over the first two periods
and short-circuited 26 of 28 MSOE shots to keep CUW within reach at
2-1.
