Falcon men skate to 4-4 tie with Northland
Ozaukee Ice Center
Concordia's Ryan Roemeing scored with just over two minutes
remaining in regulation to salvage a 4-4 tie with Northland at the
Ozaukee Ice Center this afternoon.
Things looked bleak after Northland's Mike Lennon score twice in
the first six minutes of the contest but CUW came roaring back.
Shay Klitzke scored midway through the first period to make it 2-1
and then again early in the second session to create a tie.
Northland (6-11-2) got the next two tallies but Mark Henke drew the
Falcons within one before the second period ended.
Roeming's heroics came at 17:35 of the third period and CUW held on
for the tie behind the goaltending of Everett Devlin who turned
away 29 shots.
