Falcon skaters play tough but lose 4-2
Lake Forest, IL
Concordia's men's hockey team fell to 1-15-0 on the season after absorbing a 4-2 loss at Lake Forest last evening.
After the hosts took an early 2-0 lead, CUW cut the deficit in half on a goal by Joshua Swancutt before the first period ended.
A pair of second period tallies by the hosts made the defici too much to overcome, but CUW got one back on a third period tally by Joseph Greg Douglas.
It was another frustrating defeat in that Concordia outshot Lake Forest 33-26 but CUW goalies could not effectively stop Forrester shots.
Reserve goalie Dustin LeClaire provided a bright spot by knocking away all 15 Lake Forest efforts over the final 30 minutes.
