Third period spells doom for CUW hockey

Ozaukee Ice Center

Concordia (1-8-0) dropped a 5-2 decision to visiting Augsburg (3-3-0) last evening at the Ozaukee Ice Center.

CUW was tied with Auggie 2-2 after two periods thanks to a pair of Joseph Greh Douglas goals, but the visitors dominated the final session.

Augsburg had a hefty 43-23 shot advantage on the evening but goalie Everett Devlin kept the Falcons in the game with 30 saves over the first 40 minutes.

The same teams meet this afternoon.
