Falcons WIN!

Hancock, MI

Concordia (1-7-0) broke a two year drought today with a 4-2 road win over Finlandia (1-5-0), ending the nation's longest current winless streak at 37 games.

Trailing 2-1 after two periods, the Falcons got two third period scores from Graylyn Douglas to overtake the Lions and an empty net goal in the closing seconds from Russell Johnson to seal the deal.

Johnson, with a 3 star performance, also asssited on both Douglas tallies.

Everett Devlin got the win in the nets for CUW as he was credited with 22 saves.

Concordia's last win before today was February 6, 2009 but the Falcons have played 6 ties during that span.
