Concordia led 3-1 after two periods and the Falcons (0-6) appeared on the way to their first 2009 win, but Finlandia (1-2) had other ideas. The visitors tallied four separate times in the third period to erase the deficit and record their first victory.

CUW has established a penchant for giving up an early goal and then playing an outstanding second session. That was the case again last night as Steve Sheehan, Dustin Partacz, and Josh Farnam all got into the second period scoring column while Tony Hrkac's team outshot the visitors 24-14 and dominated play.

Nobody could have expected the nightmarish game-ending sequence- four Finlandia goals in just six minutes of playing time midway through the final 20 minute session. CUW finished with a 48-45 edge in shots. The same teams meet today at 2:00pm.
