Willie Mueller, who saw major
league action as a reliever with the Milwaukee Brewers in '78 and
'81, is one of eight Wisconsin natives that have put on a Brewer
uniform.
Mueller has coached baseball at various levels for the past 17
years, and joined the Falcon staff in 2005. He is currently vice
president of the West Bend Baseball Association, a non-profit
organization dedicated to promoting, supporting, and improving
youth baseball.
Mueller resides in West Bend with his wife Ruth and two children,
Lindsey and Dan.
Dan is currently playing infield
for the CUW Falcons.
Mueller's face is familiar to most baseball fans. He played the
role of the menacing Yankee relief pitcher in the popular movie
"Major League". Willy's Brewer teammates included Robin Yount, Paul
Molitor, and Jim Gantner.
