Several Falcons honored on 2013-14 NACC All-Sportsmanship Team

WAUKESHA, Wis. – The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference released its 2013-14 All-Sportsmanship Teams Wednesday, with one player from each team from each school making the list. The players were selected by head coaches based on the principles of sportsmanship as promoted by the conference, as well as the NCAA.

The Falcons had 18 players on the All-Sportsmanship Team, one from each of 18 NACC sports CUW participates in. From the fall sports teams, CUW was represented by: Robert Meilbeck (Winthrop Harbor, Ill. – Men's Cross Country), Kelsey Wagner (Kenosha, Wis. – Women's Cross Country), Shay Klitzke (Annandale, Minn. – Football), David Kulberg (Osseo, Minn. – Men's Soccer), Michele Karsten (Waukesha, Wis. – Women's Soccer), Megan Reddersdorf (Marengo, Ill. – Women's Golf), Kristine Weber (Rochester Hills, Mich. – Women's Tennis) and Kelsey Paramore (Tomahawk, Wis. – Volleyball).

The four winter sport athletes to receive All-Sportsmanship honors were: Camille Parsons (Urbana, Ill. – Women's Basketball), Bradley Prinsen (Oostburg, Wis. – Men's Basketball), Damon Nick (Slinger, Wis. – Men's Indoor Track & Field) and Kristin Sitte (Greenfield, Wis. – Women's Indoor Track & Field).

CUW also had six student-athletes receive All-Sportsmanship honors from the spring season. Those six were: Taylor Buuck (Hillsboro, Ore. – Baseball), Evan Rabas (Sherwood, Wis. – Men's Golf), Andrew Faber (Germantown, Wis. – Men's Outdoor Track & Field), Andrea Kassees (Waukesha, Wis. – Women's Outdoor Track & Field), Russell Johnson (Monticello, Minn. – Men's Tennis) and Jessica Liszka (Lindenhurst, Ill. – Softball).

In addition to releasing the players who earned All-NACC Sportsmanship honors, the league announced Men's and Women's Sportsmanship Awards. Alverno College won the Women's Award, while Wisconsin Lutheran College earned the Men's.
